Courts of the Shadow Fey — Session 6
Session 6 of Courts of the Shadow Fey was played on the evening of 2026-08-03. The party entered at Level 8, standing at the threshold of the Shadow Fey Summer Court — the destination they had been building toward since a novice arrived breathless at a tavern in Zobeck with news about the Temple of Kors.
What is certain entering this session: the crossing was behind them. Aldric Voss had died briefly on the Shadow Road and been retrieved; the party arrived intact if depleted. The Summer Court was in session under the Queen’s authority, and the seasonal transition toward the Winter King’s claim was in motion — time, in other words, was a factor. The party had a fragile “barely friends” status with the Shadow Fey ambassador and bracers of defense gifted by a fey in disguise. What they had to offer the Queen that would constitute a negotiation rather than a petition was, as of session start, still an open question.
Tam’s confrontational instincts toward fey authority had already made one powerful interlocutor uncomfortable. The Summer Court is not the ambassador’s drawing room.
