Lyvriele Enafrya moves through the world with the particular bearing of someone who has learned that elegance and survival are not mutually exclusive.
An Eladrin fighter trained in the Samurai tradition — a discipline as much about presence as technique, about the unsheathed quality of attention a warrior brings to everything, not just combat. The Samurai does not simply react to a fight. They have already considered it. Lyvriele does not draw her blade slowly because she is hesitant. She draws it slowly because the time spent not drawing it is when she has already decided.
Shards A and B asked her to be precise in imprecise conditions — overgrown, feral, corrupted spaces where footing was uncertain and the threats did not respect spacing or timing. She adapted. Eladrin Fey Step is an ability that sounds elegant in a tavern and proves essential in a forest that is trying to kill you, or a Shard that has stopped behaving like itself. Lyvriele arrived at Shard C fully rested and better equipped than she left the last one — new attunements settled, her defenses shored up in ways that took effort to arrange but will not require explanation when the time comes.
The Sea of Governance is a different kind of terrain. It is not wild and it is not merely corrupted — it is the shape that civilization takes when something has gotten into it. Lyvriele has navigated courts and traditions and the long memory of elegant systems that have begun to rot from within. She is, in some respects, exactly the instrument this Shard will test.
